  5. This story is a common story in Portugal. Animals are abandoned in streets,neglected and cruelly subjected to pain and torture.

    Please help animals in Portugal.

    National Demonstration against kill shelter in Portugal!

    On December 11 OF 2010 AT 11:00am in front of Municipal Councils of your residence area to protest against kill shelters in Portugal.

    The aim of this national demonstration to be held in front of the Municipal Councils is to alert people in general to what is happening in Portugal and, above all, claim to end the slaughter in Municipla shelters, enforced sterilization, veterinary care to animals that are patients in kennels, decent facilities, adequate food, including weekends, collaboration with local associations in assisting, monitoring and adoption of animals.
